Back by popular demand, and more exclusive than ever, our Hot Little Number strawberry soda is back again for her 2025 release. With a fierce new look and a limited batch made from the best British berries we could get our hands on, this year’s release is a true labour of love. And a logistical nightmare, but a beautiful and flavoursome one (admittedly maybe give Gregor a little time to recover before you ask how 2025’s strawberry hunt went).

Every summer, our Strawberry soda storms back onto the scene with a juicy hit of British strawberries and a spicy Scotch Bonnet and Tellicherry pepper twist. 2025 has thrown us a real curveball though. This year, finding quality fruit wasn’t just difficult - it was borderline impossible. We scoured the UK, working with every grower we could find. Farmers are under immense pressure right now, from unpredictable weather and climate change, to relentless trading conditions - post-Brexit turmoil, rising taxes and quality demands, supply chain strain and labour shortages. We thought we could scale production with a wider variety of crops… but nature and politics had other plans. We’ll always find light at the end of the poly-tunnel (or at the bottom of a can?) and a focus on flavour, always, in ferocious conditions. You know us - where there’s a will there’s a way, and an unwavering commitment to pure, honest flavour. After all, what’s Summer without Strawberries?

So we rolled our sleeves up. The result? Our most exclusive batch yet. Smaller, more precious, and a little harder to get your mitts on - but every drop is packed with flavour, fire, and focus.

To mark the moment, Hot Little Number also returns with a slick and sexy new label design. The same bold soda, dressed to impress. If you’re lucky enough to spot it, grab it. This one won’t stick around.

HOT STUFF

Our sweetest of strawberry smooches will be hot off the press late July for FWB only, and available for you all to get your paws on from August. She’s a hot little number, big on being bold and a little bit cheeky to boot.

The balance? Plump, perfectly ripe, cream of the crop strawberries with the savoury, balancing bite of Scotch Bonnet Chilli. The mad scientist in our Founder, Gregor, really got to work on this one and it’s beautifully crafted madness - a delicate, refined and bountifully tasty smack in the mush. A flavour combination made in strawberry dreams.

Strawberries are flavoursome little divas. They have a tendency to steal the show in any drink or recipe given the opportunity to do so, often overpowering other flavours with their natural sweetness. To bring them back to reality, we've given them a gentle nudge and a sultry slap from chilli. This unexpected twist creates a harmonious balance, ensuring that every sip delivers a burst of flavour that’s both bold and refreshing, balanced and rigorous.

But how should we serve it? Have it? Savour it? We hear you demand. Whilst we’re not here to instruct you how best to enjoy our fizzy bubbly juice because each to their own, we will of course give you an inkling into Rapscallion’s preferences…

If you’re feeling a little frisky, our Strawberry soda is a winner with dry white spirits, gins and tequilas. We also love it with Aperol or Campari. Perhaps you could ride the post-Wimbledon vibes and try it with a bit of Pimms - we won’t stop you.

Need a garnish? We see your cream, but we’ll raise you the following beautiful accompaniments:

Our best time with Strawberry soda was enjoying it with a Caprese salad. A total game changer. Or, one of the most bonkers ways that we’ve experienced it was with your humble cheese and tomato toastie whilst in London at Auld Hag. Their ‘Tommy’ piece with Heirloom tomatoes, Cora Linn cheddar cheese, parsley & garlic mayo and pickled shallots alongside our Strawberry soda blew our tiny minds. Do try it at home, kids.
