During July we grab the plumpest strawberries from all around Scotland and race them back to Glasgow before there’s any chance of the flavours and goodness fading.

We select by ripeness, looking for the freshest, plumpest and juiciest berries we can get our mitts on.
Scottish Blueberry

As soon as we get these little bad boys to our site in Glasgow, we hand wash and sort each Blueberry by hand. The best of the bunch then go through a weekend long maceration to pull the flavour from the skin and pulp.

Egremont Russet is an old dessert apple variety, first recorded in Somerset in 1872. It has a characteristic nutty flavour.
Scotch Bridget is a Scottish heritage variety dating from 1851.

THE STORY SO FAR
Rapscallion started life trialling our fresh fruit soft drinks down an alleyway in Glasgow back in 2016.
Now we have grown to supplying some of the UK’s leading independent venues with our 'Fruit to Can' ethos.
